It may be difficult for you to believe in this day and age, but many people are in need of the very basic necessities of life.

It happens very often that someone will come to the Agapè Centre and ask for a bed or even just a mattress for their children to sleep on.  Our truck driver who delivers furniture to individuals in need will often comment on the deplorable situation that people are living in.

We do our very best to supply what is needed but we cannot do it alone.  We need the help of the community to donate many items to help people keep warm this winter.

You can help by donating: coats and snowsuits of all sizes for all ages

hats, scarves, mitts, gloves

boots and warm socks

sweaters and pajamas and all kinds of clothing

blankets, pillows comforters or sleeping bags

beds and mattresses
