Many staff members at the Agapè Centre were leaping for joy when Chris Quenville stopped in and presented a cheque for $1,000 to help with the food bank! Receiving the $1,000 is very much needed at this time of the year because this is a time were donations are generally at a low point.
“Our shelves once again are running low; at Christmas, people are very generous, and again in the fall, at harvest time, we see significant donations, but in between we see some very lean times,” explained Alyssa.
