Agape Centre seeking new executive director

After three years of strong leadership as the Agape Centre’s executive director, Johanne Couture has accepted a new role in the community.

The board of directors is grateful for the dedication, effort, and leadership shown by Johanne, whose tenure comes to an end on November 1, 2019.

“We wish Johanne all the best in her new endeavours,” said Maurice Dupelle, board chair. “We’re grateful for the years Johanne has contributed to Agape, and for her support as we transition into new leadership.”

Stephanie Nalepa, the Agape Centre’s fundraising coordinator, is also pursuing a new opportunity.

“Stephanie has excelled at growing Agape’s network of support. The board wishes her all the best as she takes another step in her career,” said Dupelle.

In a sector where change is constant, the board of directors and Agape staff will work together in the coming weeks to ensure continuity of services in the food bank, thrift store, and soup kitchen.
