Food Banks Canada is the organization representing food banks across the nation. They strive to find long terms solutions to hunger by initiating and running programs and raising awareness from coast to coast.

Feed Ontario is a membership community linking nearly all urban and rural food banks in Ontario.  The organization aims to provide food, support, and resources to communities by hosting workshops and awareness programs.


All Things Food Bouffe is a community food network comprised of individuals and organizations in Stormont Dundas Glengarry. They aspire to create an awareness and accessibility to local foods for all residents of SD&G.


 The Seaway Valley Community Health Centre supports the health and wellbeing of local people and our community through a team and partnership approach.


Seeds of diversity aim to preserve and promote a diversity of plants species, particularly those native to Canada.  They provide detailed instructions in the proper maintenance of these species and encourage people to get involved through their annual seed exchange project.


The Social Development Council of Cornwall & Area helps battle poverty in the area by working in unison to promote poverty awareness and other related topics such as food security.  The council achieves this by participating in a number of projects that complement their vision for the future as is outlined on their site.


Plant a Row – Grow a Row is an initiative intended to provide support to the local food bank by encouraging locals to donate food from their personal gardens.  The program offers free seeds and instructions on properly maintaining plants.


Transition Cornwall+ is an initiative that aims to inspire people in the Cornwall area to work together to increase our community’s capacity to cope with the challenges of rising fuel prices, climate change, and economic instability. They seek to raise awareness of the importance of efficient practices and upcoming challenges.


Early Years Centres are places where new parents can participate with their children in a range of activities, and be provided with any answers they may have concerning raising young children.
