Within These Walls Building Campaign

This year the Agapè Centre proudly recognizes our 43 years of service as the largest hunger relief organization serving Cornwall and the Counties. One way we measure our success is by pounds of nutritious food distributed to hungry people, however the weight of gratitude felt by our clients is immeasurable. Over the past four decades, we have distributed more than 4 million food items. In past 3 years, we’ve experienced a 30% increase in the number of request for food assistance. Along with the growing amount of pedestrian traffic and daily usage, the amount of wear and tear has also grown. The building that houses our very efforts to help those in need is beyond due for repair. Please consider a contribution to the campaign to help us reach our goals.

The Agapè Centre Board of Directors, staff and volunteers looked at the pros and cons of moving to a different location. We conducted a feasibility study as well as received expert advice from local commercial realtors. The result: The cost of moving to a new location, whether it is a lease, build or buy, far outweighs the cost of staying.
